Dr. Sloan Dupree Turner, DVM, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Radiology

Dr. Turner has been the owner and operator of Carolina Veterinary Mobile Radiology since 2008. She began her veterinary career completing her DVM at NC State University, followed by a year of rotating medicine and surgery internship and a 3-year residency at North Carolina State University - CVM in Diagnostic Imaging. Following her education, she acted as a private radiologist in the Raleigh-Durham area, her native city, before relocating to start her own business in Wilmington, NC. She serves as an outside referral source to veterinarians as well as the inpatients at the emergency hospital and referral center.

She is a mother of 2 boys and in her spare time can be found on fields and courts with her husband and kids busy with their travel sports!!! She has a labrador, Lincoln, and a pug, Peanut Butter, and enjoys time with her family otherwise on the water and at the beach.

Garrett Holland Office Manager

Garrett has worked alongside Dr. Turner for the past 7 years. Functioning in many roles to include scheduling and ensuring safe restraint of all patients, Garrett will likely be the person with whom you communicate your referral.

Garrett Holland is a former baseball player who attended Lenoir Community College and graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) in 2017, where he improved his athletic skills and passion for the game. Raised on a hog farm in eastern North Carolina, he developed a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for rural life. Outside of baseball, he is a proud owner of a Doberman named Kylo, who adds quite a bit of adventure to life. Outside of work he enjoys spending free time on the golf course, coaching his local travel baseball team, and being out on the water boating.
